Take donated scraps of yarn, add patience and compassion and you get warm, colorful blankets. More than two dozen of these blankets, made by medical and hospital staff with donated yarn, are given to the homeless through Bridges Outreach. Pharmacy Manager Angela Bacque organizes the project each year.

We Got our Pink on! RWJBarnabas Health Hospitals recognized Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing pink.
Social Worker Paul Mennona and Case Manager Diane Mikell are Stars! The two were honored for their work in helping a man move from the hospital to his home. Their heroic efforts included obtaining a hospital bed and personally readying his home for his safe discharge.
Housekeeper Renette Sygne is a Star! Renette (holding the certificate) poses with her co-workers after receiving the award. She received many letters praising her careful work, her caring demeanor and her warmth. One patient wrote of her: "She is not only a lovely person but she made my husband's room sparkle."
