Father Luigi Hargain, Pastoral Care Liaison, speaks at the Pastoral Care Fellowship Breakfast held at the hospital this morning. Pastoral Care volunteers and area clergy came together to learn from one another and understand their roles in treating the spiritual needs of our diverse community. The clergy and volunteers also were thanked for delivering vital services to the hospital community.

This is the power of support.The RWJ Rahway Breast Cancer support group celebrated ten years with a dinner February 1 at the RWJ Rahway Fitness & Wellness Center in Scotch Plains. At the dinner, the group shared their many success stories, including the treatment success of writer Chiara D’Agostino, who found an immunotherapy clinical trial at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey through support group facilitator Mindy Cohen.
Ms. D’Agostino’s story was told in this month's New Jersey Monthly magazine. Pictured are Mindy Cohen, group facilitator, CINJ researcher Dr. Kim Hirshfield and Ms. D'Agostino. Dr. Hirshfield, who has lectured at the center on immunotherapy, was a special guest at the dinner.
