Alicia Textores, APN-C
Alicia Textores, RN, APN-C, is a certified adult nurse practitioner and a wound care specialist at the Wound Care Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. She provides clinical patient care in accordance with an established and proven clinical pathway for wound healing, in addition to performing utilization review, case management, and quality management to ensure that each patient receives the highest quality of care during their healing process.
Mrs. Textores received her Master’s of Science in Nursing at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Adult Nurse Practitioner program and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida International University. In addition to her role at the Wound Care Center, she works as a surgical adult nurse practitioner with Wound Care Center Medical Director, Anthony M. Tonzola, MD. Previously, she provided patient care as an operating room nurse at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick; the former Rahway Hospital; North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, MN; Florida Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale. She began her nursing career at Hollywood Medical Center in Hollywood, Fl.
Mrs. Textores is a member of the Academy of Nurse Practitioners, a certified operating room nurse, and currently is an adjunct clinical instructor at the Brookdale Community College, School of Nursing.
Mrs. Textores is married with two children and resides in Lincroft, NJ.
