Theresa Dobbin, RN, BSN, WCC
Theresa Dobbin, RN, BSN, WCC is the clinical care coordinator at the new Wound Care Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. Certified in wound care, Ms. Dobbin is responsible for the coordination of the clinical activities of the Wound Management Program, including utilization of skills in organization, leadership, planning, implementing, evaluating and providing care as it relates to the age and specific needs of the patient. In addition, she drives the case management model, which includes specific assessments according to protocols and procedures, clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments and patient/caregiver education related to wound care and management.
A recipient of the 2006 Circle of Excellence in Clinical Nursing, Ms. Dobbin has worked at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway (formerly known as Rahway Hospital) since 1990 as a staff nurse on medical/surgical and orthopedic units and as a patient care coordinator on the medical/infectious disease unit.
She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at Wagner College and is currently pursuing her nurse practitioner license. Ms. Dobbin has also received her IV certification; CPR certification; medical/surgical nursing certification; and is a member of the National Alliance of Wound Care.
Ms. Dobbin resides in Clark, NJ and is a Team Captain for the annual Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in New York.
