10th Holiday Taste Testing for People with Diabetes
Rahway – If you have diabetes, you can enjoy delicious holiday foods. Learn the recipes and techniques for festive holiday fare at the 10th annual Holiday Taste Testing November 17 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway. Sample appetizers, entrees, desserts and beverages appropriate for people with diabetes. Recipes will be available.
The program, in recognition of diabetes awareness month, features cardiologist Michael Chen, MD, who will discuss diabetes’ role in heart disease and how controlling diabetes reduces heart disease risk. This program is free, but requires registration. To register call 732-499-6109.
RWJ Rahway is located at 865 Stone Street. The program will be held in the hospital’s main conference room. It starts at 7 pm.
