The Robert Wood Johnson Health System and Network represents one of the largest
health care systems in New Jersey and the only one with a medical school as a partner. The network includes seven acute care hospitals and one pediatric rehabilitation long-term care hospital, four federally qualified health centers, and Presbyterian Home Services, which is one of the largest assisted living and long term care providers in New Jersey.

The Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) is an academic unit of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) which is the state's university of the health sciences. The medical school is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in the education of health professionals, in the conduct of biomedical, clinical, and public health research, in the delivery of health care and in the promotion of community health for the residents of the state.
