David E. Rojer, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and the medical director of the new Joint Replacement Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. Specializing in total joint replacement, which includes minimally-invasive procedures for both knee and hip, Dr. Rojer has performed more than 500 knee and hip replacements and is currently in private practice with the Union County Orthopaedic Group in Linden, NJ.
Dr. Rojer received his Medical Degree from New York University School of Medicine, completed residency training at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital Center, Department of Orthopedic Surgery and a fellowship in arthritis surgery and joint reconstruction at Stanford University. He has authored and presented on a number of joint replacement and orthopedic topics and is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Rojer is an avid participant in Ultimate Frisbee activities, holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and ran in the Philadelphia Marathon.
