Previous Registrar experience in a hospital setting required. Must have knowledge of insurances and medical terminology. Excellent customer service skills necessary. Ability to work independently and flexibility to cover various schedules/shifts as needed.

MICROBIOLOGY SUPERVISOR

Full-time – Days

MT (ASCP) with 3-5 yrs microbiology supervisor experience. Responsible for all department activities including CAP, NJDHSS & Joint Commission accreditation, regulatory requirements, & laboratory quality assurance activities. Works closely with infection control & pharmacy departments.

PHYSICIAN’S RELATION SPECIALIST

Part-time

Under the direction of the Director of Physician Strategic Development will be responsible for serving as a liaison between the hospital and its medical staff as well as other community physicians. This includes promoting RWJUH-Rahway services to a variety of physician staff members to help departments achieve their volume/profitability goals, to improve physician retention and recruitment rates, implement strategies to enhance communications with physician’s offices and other health care providers.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

RADIOLOGY TECHNICIAN

REHABILITATION ATTENDANT

PT - Hospital

Duties will include patient care involving preparation and cleaning of equipment, assisting patient during treatment under the direction of a licensed therapist & transporting patient if applicable. Will also perform clerical duties. Must be a HS grad and fluency in verbal/written English required.

SCHEDULER

8:30 am – 5 pm

HS grad responsible for scheduling appointments for in-hospital services for outpatients only. Must be computer literate with good typing skills.

SECRETARY OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY

Days

Excellent verbal & written communication skills plus strong Word & Excel skills required. Must be highly organized, detail-oriented & professional. 20 hrs/wk.

SPEECH THERAPIST

Full-time – Days

Will provide speech/language and dysphasia services for adult, ventilator dependent and pediatric patients. Services are provided in acute care, LTACH, SNF/subacute and outpatient settings on premise. Ideal candidate will have NJ license and Certificate of Clinical Competence but will consider a strong CFY. Proficiency conducting and interpreting video fluoroscopic swallowing studies and hospital experience preferred.

STERILE PROCESSING TECHNICIAN

12pm - 8pm

HS grad that will be responsible for the cleaning/sterilization of instruments, knowledgeable of infection control concepts/ procedures. Must have the ability to prepare instruments/trays while maintaining a safe/ sterile environment for supplies. Will maintain inventory of supplies/instruments.

TELEPHONE OPERATOR

Per Diem - Days

HS Grad or equivalent, at least 1-year healthcare switchboard, computer literate in MS Office and PC based text paging systems. Ability to maintain composure under pressure & excellent communication skills a MUST.
