Foundation Upcoming Events:
The 2008 Rose Ball will be held on Saturday, April 26 at the lovely and luxurious Hotel Westminster in Livingston. Rose Ball Chairman, Christine Kline, said, “The 2008 Foundation honorees are RWJUH Rahway Board of Governors Chairman,
G. Allen Geyer, Guardian of the Rose, and Schering-Plough Corporation, Order of the Rose for their outstanding commitment and dedication to our hospital.” Reservations are $225 per person with some special sponsorships available, a Super $50,000 50/50 Raffle and a silent auction. Only 1,000 $50 tickets will be sold and the ten winners will be announced at the gala. (You need not be present to win). The proceeds for 2008 will benefit the Fund for Technology Advancements.
The Foundation’s 25th Annual Golf Classic will be held on Monday, September 15th at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield. Rick Parker, Executive Director, CBIZ KA Consulting Services, will be the Honorary Chairman. The popular event sells out quickly and has raised funds for the programs, services and facilities of RWJUH Rahway. This year the proceeds will benefit the Fund for Technology Advancements. Kevin Headd, retired pro of Oak Hill Golf Club, and Marlene H. Lubinger, Foundation President will co-chair once again.

The 2008 Fashion Show will be held on Saturday, November 1 at The Bridgewater Marriott. According to Chairman Peggy Nicora, “Back by popular
demand, Journey Productions will once again entertain while showing off the latest in fashion.”
Marla Lind heads up the Boutique Basket Committee and has challenged the group to offer more than 130 baskets for a “Tricky Tray Auction.” The 4th Annual Employee and Physician Office Staff Basket Contest will be featured at the event.
