Mediterranean Diet and Good Health
Scotch Plains – The Mediterranean diet, named after dietary staples found in southern Europe and North Africa, includes some of the most heart-friendly foods available.
Become familiar with these heart-healthy foods at a special program on April 14, 2009 at 7 pm at the RWJ Rahway Fitness & Wellness Center in Scotch Plains.
The free program features Chef and Registered Dietitian Diane Weeks. Ms. Weeks will introduce you to these heart-healthy foods, cooking techniques and offer plenty of samples. The event is open to everyone, but please pre-register by calling 732-499-6193.
