Learn Well, Live Well in May at the RWJ Rahway Fitness & Wellness Center
Scotch Plains – Heart disease is the leading killer of men and women in the U.S. Here are two programs about heart disease you don’t want to miss.
“Keeping the Beat: Heart Disease Risks for those 55 and Older.” Learn the risk factors for heart disease and what you can do to prevent them. It’s never too late to make a difference.
The program is May 13 at 11 am at the RWJ Rahway Fitness & Wellness Center in Scotch Plains. The program is led by health educator Paul Schroeder. It is free and open to the public.
On May 19 at 6:30 pm, infectious disease specialist Juan Baez, MD of Westfield will lead a program about infections and heart disease. There are number of infections that can have serious consequences for your heart. Learn what they are, what they look like, and, most importantly, what you can do to prevent them from becoming a threat.
